"I absolutely love Huahine, it's so lush and beautiful! But I also love that it's one of the most culturally preserved islands in Tahiti. The last time I was there, we went on a horseback ride through the waist deep waters of Lake Fauna Nui and then up Matairea Hill. As we rode through the jungle on our way to the top of the mountain, we passed several ancient 'marae' (polynesian temples). I'll never forget the experience. It felt as if I'd been transported to a different moment in time. And the view from the top was incredible!"

"Experiencing Le Taha'a Private Island for the first time was unlike any other place I visited on my first trip down to the islands. The resort has a very authentic Polynesian feel to it with all the local wood and traditional decor. Everything from the overwater accommodations to the tree house feel of the main restaurant was very unique! The spa rooms were built overlooking a natural lake located on the island, and my favorite aspect of my whole experience was the amazing drift snorkeling located right beside the property!"

The faint smell of vanilla is everywhere, the massages are to die for and the coral garden just a short distance away is some of the best snorkeling I have ever done. My most cherished moment, however, was simply sitting on my private deck and watching the calm waters of the lagoon gently lap at the shores.”
