Tikehau Fafarua Lodge is a vacation home on a pristine private motu on the eastern side of Tikehau. Located thirty minutes by boat from the airport, this large house fulfills any private island vacation fantasy. Surrounded by lush coconut groves and white coral beaches, you will enjoy the luxury of exploring Tikehau's unspoiled natural beauty at your leisure with exclusive use of this idyllic motu.

The main house is built in the traditional Tuamotu style with three airy and well-ventilated bedrooms. The master bathroom features an open-air shower and hand-built coral walls while the common area includes an open-plan living and dining area with window seats and an outdoor 'fare Potee' (dining and seating area). Enjoy daily meals cooked to perfection by the owner featuring local organic vegetables and freshly-caught fish. Spend your days as you please - relax on your own private stretch of sand with fresh coconut water in hand or hop in the owner's boat for a truly unique tour of the surrounding atolls, filled with local insights, anecdotes, and glimpses into the Tahitian way of life.

Venture across the lagoon with your guide to the tiny islet known as Bird Island. This bird watcher`s paradise provides the opportunity to view many unique avian species in their natural island habitat. Tour requires at least four people to operate.

Journey by motorboat across the Tikehau lagoon to unspoiled motu islets. Visit "Bird Island" where you can discover a wild island that is home to many species of birds: several varieties of boobies, the brown noddy, frigates, and the elegant fairy tern to name a few. You can also enjoy snorkeling to see the amazing undersea flora and fauna that live in these clear, colorful waters. Includes a freshly prepared Polynesian lunch.
