Try local fishing in one of the world’s most fish-rich lagoons! After a few minutes by boat, the captain will drop anchor near a cluster of coral, which is generally a favorable habitat for fishing. Equipped only with nylon lines, hooks, and hermit crabs, experience traditional Tuamotu fishing. Here are the fish you may have the chance to catch: needlefish, marbled grouper, paddletail snapper, and surgeonfish.

Embark on a 4x4 adventure through Taiohae, the cultural heart and administrative capital of the Marquesas. Explore the village’s rich history with visits to its cathedral, archaeological sites, and local museum. Then continue to Koueva, an ancient open-air tohua once led by the famed war chief Pakoko. Your journey concludes with a stop at the Fare Artisanal, where local artisans showcase and sell their handcrafted creations.

Along the way, pass through the quaint village of Taaoa, with its charming stone church and small, peaceful beach.

Embark on a 2.5-hour rainforest trek through lush jungle trails and river crossings to reach the fascinating megalithic site of Tehueto. Hidden deep in the forest, this sacred site features ancient petroglyphs and a traditional me`ae ceremonial platform built above a striking tiki head. This unforgettable adventure is only accessible during dry weather due to the rugged terrain. (Difficulty: Moderate)

Discover Moorea`s volcanic peaks, crystalline waters and lush hillsides on an adventurous 4x4 Safari tour. Visit the Agricultural College, where you`ll discover a variety of plants native to these Polynesian islands. You`ll also stop at a pineapple plantation and visit a local juice factory.

Explore the island of Huahine on this 4x4 island tour. Start by visiting Fare, the main town of Huahine, followed by a visit to the village of Maeva where you'll tour the ancient Marae (archaeological sites). You'll then continue on and visit a vanilla plantation and then have a chance to see and feed the sacred blue-eyed eels of Faie. You'll end the tour with a stop for a panoramic view at the Belvedere lookout point. Fruit and soft drinks are provided on the tour.
